Classic Sandstone Walk

A 10 mile round-trip, exploring the majestic sandstone outcrops of the Kent and Sussex borders.

Our experienced and knowledgeable instructors will take you on a whistle-stop tour of the most beautiful Southern Sandstone crags, pausing briefly at each to attempt to ascend some of the most aesthetic rock climbing routes in the south of England.

Finish the day off at Harrison’s Rocks with a relaxing BBQ, provided by the award winning Rare Breed Pig Company.

The perfect day out for novice and experienced rock climbers alike, or for those just hoping to get a taste of the Southern Sandstone.

Kent and Sussex Climbing are currently working on the last details of our rock climbing trip packages. These experiences are likley to include the following:

• Bi-monthly weekend trips away

• Pick up from Tunbridge Wells station, Brighton station or rock climbing walls

• Rock climbing crag drop off and pick up

• Camping or B&B

• Additional tuition if required

• Minibus hire
