How much rock climbing experience do I need? - You do not require any experience to climb with Kent and Sussex Climbing. We will teach you everything you need to know.
Is the deposit refundable? - Once the deposit is paid, it is non-refundable.
Can I change the date after I have booked? -Depending on the situation, dates should be able to be changed without any further costs. However, there should be a good amount of notice given.
If it's raining, does the course continue? - All rock climbing courses must run, regardless of the weather. Kent and Sussex Climbing instructors will ensure that the course is still up to the standards that we all expect.
What should I wear? - You should wear tight-fitted footwear, such as trainers or plimsoles. Jeans are not recommended, as they are relatively heavy. Normal sports clothing or gym wear is perfectly suitable. It is always recommended to bring waterproofs.
I want to try Indoor Climbing, where should I go? We highly recommend our good friends The Arch Rock Climbing Wall.
Do your courses run all year round? - Kent and Sussex Climbing courses run all year round.
I'm scared of heights, is it safe? - Kent and Sussex Climbing instructors always put your safety first. You will always be kitted up to prevent any sort of injury.
What do I need to bring? - Kent and Sussex Climbing advises you to bring water-proofs and a bottle of water. If you have booked a day's course, it is highly recommended that you bring a packed-lunch.
I'm not on the course, can I watch? - Kent and Sussex Climbing welcomes all spectators to our courses.
Can I bring a camera? - Yes, you are more than welcome to bring cameras to photograph your adventure. We also encourage you to send in your photos and videos, so we can upload them to our gallery page and share your experience with the world!
How old do I need to be? - The minimum age for a participant is 6 years old. There is no age limit to participate with Kent and Sussex Climbing.
I'm almost 6, can I climb? - Unfortunately, we are obliged to say no to almost 6 years olds, due to insurance purposes.
